What Soda Should I Get For A Wedding?
It is advised to stick with the classic, popular brands of soda. So, Coke/Pepsi (including both regular and diet varieties), Sprite (or Lemonade), Club Soda, and Tonic Water.
For your budget, it’s generally best to stick with a few ‘winners’ and not to try and offer too many flavors.
This will also ensure that everyone will be able to find something they like, too.
That being said, if you have the added budget or know that guests like particular drinks, you could also introduce more, or swap one out for something a little different.
Calculating Soda For Your Wedding
Soda is an ideal option for non-drinkers and driving guests. And thankfully, it tends to be a little bit easier to work out.
The formula used in the calculator above, and that is generally recommended by the industry is as follows:
of soft drinks = # of non-drinking guests * (party duration in hours + 1).
This essentially ensures every guest has the option of a drink for every hour of the party, while also factoring in an additional drink should they want more (or your drinking guests decide to ditch the alcohol and switch).
